These are photographs of
the
Modela Alemán style
guitar. The body shape is the same as a Hauser Sr.,
from the mid-1940s.
Thomas Beltran
Guitars builds a copy of a 1943 Hauser, using German
or Englemann Spruce for the top, and Brazilian
Rosewood for the Back/Sides. The scale length is
650mm or 660mm. We also use the general size and
dimensions for guitars with other woods.
The Modela Alemán style
guitar pictured at left has Indian Rosewood back/sides
and a redwood top.
